Timeless Teachings in a Changing World

At Aspire Montessori School, we call our teachers guides. They are lead by a trained and overseen by a Montessorian to assure their pedagogy, practice, and preparation of dynamic learning environments encourage each child to reason, to cooperate, to collaborate, to negotiate, and to understand. Each guide’s goal is to guide the development and competency of the individual child by serving as the facilitator for learning. The guide is the child’s link to the environment, someone who gives a lesson and steps back to allow the child to work while observing and directing each child forward to the next appropriate material and key educational experience.  Children operate within a balanced structure of freedoms and responsibilities, free to follow their inspirations with work that stimulates and satisfies their inner motivations while remaining responsible for tackling challenging and difficult work head-on. This balanced structure of freedoms and responsibilities is created and maintained through the ongoing observations, inspiration, and redirection of the classroom guides. The Montessori curriculum is organized as a continuum with one step building precisely on the previous one. The concept of mixed ages promotes an atmosphere of cooperation, teamwork, and peer teaching. The design of the materials and the structure of the tasks lead children to the development of self-discipline.

After-school Program 


Kinder Dance & Gym



Kinderdance® is the original worldwide dance, motor development, gymnastics and fitness program that combines academic readiness skills which are specifically designed for children. What makes Kinderdance® unique is that all of our programs incorporate educational concepts in a developmentally designed curriculum that teaches to the total child. We place special emphasis on building “Self Confidence” and “Self-Esteem” in young children.

We have a ballet/tap class and a gymnastics class that both meet once per week at school for 30 minutes each. You can see more information, pictures and also register for class at

  • Nido

    Infant Program

    6 wks - 15 mos

    The Montessori Nido is a calm, cozy, homelike environment for babies. “Nido,” which means “nest” in Italian, captures the idea of warmth and security. Maria Montessori used this word to describe the infant classroom, within which little people feel cared for and loved, so that they will feel safe to explore and grow!

  • Young Children's House

    Toddler Program

    aprox. 16 - 36 months

    Toddlerhood is a time of astonishing growth. In the short span of a year or so, your child experiences an explosion of language, along with dramatic advancement in fine and gross motor control, problem-solving ability, independence, and social interaction. The Montessori Toddler classroom offers an environment and a community keyed to nurturing these skills.

  • Children's House

    Primary Program

    3 - 6 years

    The Children's House Community is a carefully prepared, child-sized classroom in which a young child can direct their own activity, building confidence and social skills.The Children's House includes five different classroom areas — including one for each major academic subject — each with enticing and sequenced materials that your child will be introduced to with individualized lessons over a three-year period. The oldest children in the Children's House are leaders, mentors, role models and helpers for the younger children, and the younger children look up to and learn from their older peers.
